Micro Accessories

Micro Test Blocks-These blocks are used to check the accuracy of your Micro Hardness Tester, available for the Knoop or Vickers hardness tests.  Calibrated at our standardizing laboratory, micro test blocks are available in a wide range of hardness values and can be calibrated at any of the standard loads.

Knoop and Vickers Indenter-Both indenters are diamond ground.  The Vickers is in the form of a square based pyramid with an angle of 136o between faces.  The Knoop is in the form with a diagonal line length of 7.11:1.  The Knoop test allows continuous indentations to thinner specimens at closer intervals.  We carry replacement indenters for most Micro hardness testers.

Self Leveling Vise-This accessory can be used to hold tapered pieces, wire, mounted samples, etc.  The measuring plane is at a horizontal level and causes an extremely efficient measuring operation.

Horizontal Fine Specimen Measuring Device-This accessory is used for testing unmounted rounds from 0.5 ~ 4mm.

Clamping Device-Standard vise used for securing a wide range of specimens for easy and accurate testing.
